A tender, juicy ham roast with a sticky honey mustard glaze that caramelizes in the oven. Perfect for Sunday dinners or special occasions.

Directions

Uses: Bone-in Ham Roast (2–4 lb, uncured)

Ingredients:

  • 1 Fat Sow bone-in ham roast

  • ½ cup Dijon mustard

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.

  2. In a bowl, mix mustard, honey, vinegar, garlic powder, and pepper.

  3. Score the fat cap in a diamond pattern, then brush half the glaze over the roast.

  4. Roast in a baking dish uncovered for 2.5–3 hours, basting every 30 minutes.

  5. Rest 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with roasted sweet potatoes or green beans.
